"Westville's newest emerging pop-rock band"
- New Haven Independent

The Midnight Strangers are an indie pop-rock band formed in 2015 in Connecticut. Their music is a genre-defying blend of pop-rock, power pop, and indie rock, with influences ranging from The Beatles to The 1975. The band's soft rock sound draws upon the bright, piano-based sounds of the 70s to construct a unique modern twist on the pop-rock genre. John Lennon, Fleetwood Mac, Alex G, and David Bowie have all been cited as influences to their sound. As said in 2020 by Connecticut music blog CtVerses, "The members of The Midnight Strangers may only be in early high-school, but their music is incredibly catchy and sophisticated. Skirting the line between pop music and baroque rock, the band released their first full length record, Speed of Light recently." They write, record, and edit their own music and music videos, employing musical creativity throughout all of their work. In February 2020, they released their debut album, Speed of Light, and in April were featured in The New Haven Independent and their radio show with award-winning journalist Paul Bass. In May 2020, The Midnight Strangers were set to perform at the annual Westville Artwalk, a live music and art festival that, according to their website, "Traditionally draws between 8,000-10,000 visitors." Due to ArtWalk's COVID cancellation, they performed virtually on ArtWalk's live-stream. In June, they were nominated for Best Duo/Group Under 18 for the Josie Music Awards. Throughout the rest of 2020, they wrote and worked on recording their second album, while taking a break from shows due to the pandemic. In May 2021, the band performed at Westville's Annual Artwalk for the first time in-person. In June, they were nominated for Josie Music Awards for Rock Group of the Year and Rock Song of the Year by a Group for their song "A Second Chance". The Midnight Strangers released their second album, Odyssey, on April 22, 2022, and are currently in the process of recording their third album.
